Erasmus + for Partners

HF & VUC Klar is an accredited secondary and adult school. Our students range in age from 16 to 60.

 

We have a wide range of educational programs and courses:

 

  • 2-year HF (Higher Preparatory Examination), available in both Slagelse and Ringsted.
  • HF single-subject courses - many options with programs lasting 1, 2 or 3 years.
  • AVU (General Adult Education) equivalent to the 9th and 10th grades of lower secondary school.
  • FVU (Preparatory Adult Education) in Danish, mathematics, English, and IT.
  • Education for adults with dyslexia
  • Business-oriented courses.

 

We have approximately 700 students enrolled in our programs. We have around 90 members of staff, including teachers, administrative personnel, support staff, and management.

 

Erasmus accreditation

We are looking for partners for job shadowing and for short-term student and staff-mobility.

Exciting places to visit

Locally

Step back in time to Trelleborg, a Viking longhouse, where you can explore the reconstructed site, experiencing the daily life and rich heritage of the Vikings firsthand. It stands as a testament to the fierce spirit of the Viking Age. 

 

You can venture into the Panzer Museum, where you'll encounter an extraordinary collection of vehicles from behind the Iron Curtain of the Cold War era. Marvel at the tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery that played pivotal roles in history.

 

Or prepare to be amazed by the monumental Storebæltsbroen, a breathtaking bridge that connects Zealand to Funen. One of the world's largest construction projects, this architectural marvel encompasses both a railway section and a motorway section.

 

Copenhagen 

We have branches in Slagelse and Ringsted, situated on the island of Zealand. Slagelse is approximately a one hour drive from Copenhagen, while Ringsted is about half an hour's drive away. 

 

Experience Copenhagen's rich culture, history and the many iconic landmarks. You can visit Tivoli Gardens, a captivating amusement park blending thrilling rides and enchanting gardens.

 

Stop by the statue of The Little Mermaid, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's timeless tale and the symbol of Copenhagen.

 

You can also take a walk a long the picturesque Nyhavn, a charming waterfront, lined with vibrant townhouses with a lively atmosphere. 

 

Odense

We are also located an hour's drive from Odense, where you can dive into the world of fairy tales and art.

 

Visit Hans Christian Andersen's childhood home and the new museum. You can step into the very place where the famous storyteller's imagination was born, and immerse yourself in the tales that have touched readers around the globe.

 

Art enthusiasts will want to visit Brandts Art Museum, a treasure trove of creativity and inspiration. Explore the captivating exhibitions that showcase both contemporary and classic works of art, offering a glimpse into Danish art.

 

The idyllic park Munke Mose, located in the heart of Odense, is beloved by locals. Whether you seek a peaceful retreat or a scenic spot for a picnic, Munke Mose offers a serene escape from the bustling city.
